Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga by Munazza

Be-khudi is proud to introduce Munazza Mansoor, certified Yoga instructor, for Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga Classes at Dar-e-Bekhudi.

Munazza has received her yoga teacher training from Samyama Mindfulness in Bali, where she attended the RYT-200 hour Meditation and Yoga Teacher Training programme. She is also certified in Reiki Level 1.

We are excited to announce that Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga Classes launched at Dar-e-Bekhudi on the 27th of April!

Hatha is traditionally a slower paced form of yoga; working with the breath and balancing the energies of the body and mind. In contrast, Vinyasa allows for more dynamic movement, transitioning from one posture to the next seamlessly, using the breath.

The infusion of the two styles allows for a reflective practice, with conscious awareness of the present moment, while also increasing the heart rate.

We hope you are as thrilled as we are, as we expand and grow at Dar-e-Bekhudi!

This is neat - alumni from AKU-ISMC have set up an Urdu-English meditation platform to help people cope with the crisis of uncertainty and lockdown. We make a big deal about training future leaders in AKU-ISMC and sometimes that means people who have obvious positions of authority, like politicians, diplomats, scholars or entrepreneurs, but sometimes it means taking a lead in more personal capacities to try and make things better for others.

I'm truly impressed and humbled by Tehmina Mansoor and Zohaib Zuby. They are definitely demonstrating the kind of leadership that makes me proud to be part of AKU.
